Couples Counseling

Whether you are dating, looking forward to your wedding day, or have been married for 40 years, couples counseling can enrich and deepen your relationship together and your relationship with Jesus Christ. Each individual in the relationship is a product of their environment, family upbringing, and their personal experiences. As such, each individual brings all of these aspects of their lives into the relationship which then results in a unique, new dynamic, specific to the couple. In order for any relationship to be healthy and fulfilling, time must be invested in exploring how all of these dynamics impact the relationship. Through the process of couples counseling, the couple is equipped with tools that help them gain a better understanding of their relationship, leading to a more fulfilling future.

Family Counseling

We have a great appreciation for young people as insightful, passionate influencers of their culture. At the same time, we have found that they are exceptionally impressionable and often lost in and overwhelmed by their emotions. It can be difficult to know how to come alongside an adolescent during this stage of development.  We see our role as coming alongside you as parents to support your son or daughter through one of the most challenging times of life – to help them make sense of their emotions and learn skills that will help them successfully navigate adolescence and beyond. Jesus Christ being at the center of a family can make it stronger, and together, we can help guide you down that path. We are confident that you will find us to be collaborative, supportive therapists both to your son or daughter as well as to your family.

Our areas of focus include:

  • Family communication style
  • Conflict resolution
  • Collaborative problem solving
  • Boundaries and limit-setting
  • Emotional expression and regulation
  • Attachment
  • Mood and anxiety disorders
  • Trauma and chronic stress
